Adelaide Croatia Raiders is excited to announce our new Senior team coach for the 2022 season and beyond, Phil Stubbins!

As a forward-thinking coach with an impressive record and experience, we know that Phil will be a massive contribution to both the Senior team and our long term plan of the club. Previous coaching experience has included time in the:

  • A-League 

  • Thai Premier League 

  • Australian NPL 

  • Australian Institute of Sport 

  • Australian National Youth Teams 

  • Premier Football Academy 

  • Australian College of Sport. 

Making an impact on many notable Australian soccer players, Phil has coached and mentored players such as Mathew Leckie, Paul Izzo, Osama Malik, Stefan Mauk and Sasa Ognenovski to name a few. Determined to build a united, strong and winning team, we’re excited to see the wealth of education and knowledge he can bring to the Senior team as well as the dynamic of the club overall. Highlights of his coaching career include: 

  • Asian Champions League Final (Adelaide United) 

  • FIFA World Club Cup - Quater Final (Adelaide United) 

  • ‘A’ League - Grand Final (Adelaide United) 

  • Australian Institute of Sport/National Youth Teams - Analyst

  • Victorian - Coach of the year 

  • 8 x Championships as a head coach.
