Adelaide Croatia Raiders has a long and proud history in South Australia both on the pitch and in the community. As a club we want to be known for playing excellent football while being a respectful, honourable and a united club. To realise this vision we have core values that all members of Adelaide Croatia Raiders must live by.
Our values are…

Football First

At Adelaide Croatia Raiders our focus is to develop our players individually and as a team to be the best players they can be. We aim to develop passionate players who love the game, love the club and learn the technical skills to be great players. All players at Adelaide Croatia Raiders are treated as valued players and deserve equal energy and commitment from coaches.

Respect

All coaches, officials, players and parents will at all times display respect for each other, for our opposition and for all officials. Racism, racial vilification or harassment of any sort is entirely unacceptable and Adelaide Croatia Raiders embraces all members of our community.

Unity

We are all members of this great club and will work towards the common goal of maintaining our reputation as a football force and a club that operates with integrity and honour in all instances. When representing Adelaide Croatia Raiders in public we ensure we project a positive image and take pride in the club we represent. As a team official you recognise that admin and financial issues are critical to the club’s success and will respond to all requests as a matter of urgency. We will at all times show care and pride in the club’s facilities which are the envy of the state.

Our Expectations

As a member of Adelaide Croatia Raiders there are expectations of how we conduct ourselves in and around the club. These include:

Punctuality

Turn up on time for training and games. Being late and unprepared is disrespectful to your coach and teammates. Once training is completed you must leave the ground immediately.

Communication

If you will be late or unable to attend you are required to notify your coach as early as possible. No communication with your coach could lead to missing out on the weekend’s game.

Equipment and Facilities

All football equipment and the facilities at the Croatian Sports Centre are to be looked after and treated as your own. Particularly all goals, mobile and fixed, must not be swung on or used for anything other than their core purpose…football goals. The replenishment of equipment and maintenance of facilities due to mis-use costs the club a great deal of money, money that could be better used elsewhere. After training and games ensure you collect all your equipment, including balls that have ended up in the olive trees and/or carparks and take all rubbish with you. When playing away ensure you leave no rubbish or equipment behind and do not damage opposition facilities. The only damage you can inflict on the opposition is on the scoreboard.

Game Day

All parents and spectators to watch from the car park side of pitches 3, 4 and 5 and from outside the fence on pitch 2. Only authorised officials may stand with players/coaches. Whilst filming is allowed at most grounds we ask that you respect any requests to stop filming.

Fines and Sanctions

All yellow and red cards incur fines as can other inappropriate behaviour as decided by Football SA. Any fine incurred as a result of a non-playing incident (for example violence and inappropriate conduct towards officials and opposition players) will be paid by the offending player or Adelaide Croatia Raiders official.

Payment of Club Fees

Failure to pay club fees on time, or to arrange an agreed payment plan with the club treasurer will result in player deregistration.

With our values in mind, Adelaide Croatia Raiders will not tolerate behaviour which can have significant reputational, financial and operational impacts for the club. Such impacts can include fines, suspensions, bans, docked points etc. As a participant in the highest level of football in South Australia we are expected to uphold regulations and be role models in the community.
Our club will not tolerate:

  • Disrespect, aggression (verbal and/or physical), intimidation etc towards officials or opposing teams.

  • Violence of any sort on or off the pitch.

  • Bringing the club into disrepute.

  • Disregarding admin, financial or other requests from club officials.
